Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mekanisme penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif pada mahasiswa Manajemen kepariwisataan STIPAR Triama Jaya untuk mengetahui kemampuan menulis siswa dalam bahasa Inggris sebelum penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif, dan kemampuan keterampilan menulis siswa. setelah penerapan model ini. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Program Diploma III Manajemen Kepariwisataan (MPW) semester 3 STIPAR Triatma Jaya Badung, Bali Tahun Ajaran 2018/2019 dengan jumlah sampel 10 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis siswa yang dibuktikan dengan hasil analisis data kuantitatif sederhana. Secara kuantitatif terjadi peningkatan kemampuan menulis mahasiswa MPW STIPAR Triatma Jaya Semester 3. Rerata skor dalam grammar dan vocabulary adalah (2.3), discourse (2.7), clarity of meaning (3.0), the relationship between ideas (3,4). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai pretest siswa adalah 10,4, rata-rata kemampuan grammar dan vocabulary (3,0), discourse (3,7), clarity of meaning (3,5), relationship between ideas (3,8). Nilai kemampuan menulis siswa pada post test adalah 14. This study aims to determine the mechanism for applying the cooperative learning model to the students of Tourism Management of STIPAR Triama Jaya to determine the students’ writing skills in English before the application of the cooperative learning model , and to the ability of students' writing skills after the application of this model. The research subjects were students of Diploma III, Tourism Management (MPW) semester 3, STIPAR Triatma Jaya, Badung, Bali in 2018/2019 academic year with a sample of 10 people. The results showed that the application of the cooperative learning model can improve students' writing skills, as evidenced by the results of simple quantitative data analysis. Quantitatively, there is an increase in the ability of students of MPW STIPAR Triatma Jaya Semester 3 in writing. The mean of score in grammar and vocabulary was (2.3), discourse (2.7), clarity of meaning (3.0), the relationship between ideas (3,4). The result showed that the student’s score on the pretest was is 10.4, average grammar and vocabulary abilities (3.0), discourse management (3,7), clarity of meaning (3.5), relationship between ideas (3,8).
