Pengaruh Tingkat Pengetahuan Terhadap Sikap Siswa dalam Mengelola Sampah di SMP Negeri 5 Pemalang

Abstract

The purpose of this research (1) to know the level of students knowledge, (2) to know the attitude of students inmanaging garbage, (3) know the influence of knowledge level to the attitude of students in managing garbage.Samples used proportional random sampling. Data collection techniques are: question, poll, observation,interview, and documentation. Its data analysis uses a descriptive percentage technique and simple linearregression.. The results showed that students ' knowledge showed an excellent criterion of 64% or as many as 54students. Students ' cognitive knowledge spreads each level or each indicator knows as many as 74 students,understands 36 students, applies 42 students, analyzes 32 students, synthesizes 38 students and evaluates 84students. While the attitude of students in managing garbage garbage includes good criteria of 76% or as manyas 65 students. Based on the results of a simple linear regression test that the knowledge variable of attitudevariables there is an influence with a significance value of 0.007, the magnitude of the influence is the value of RSquare shows 85%. Advice, its necessary to improve cognitive knowledge at the level of menaganolysis, so thatstudents can think critically. Than need to improve the strengthening attitude responding stidents in themanagement of waste to better. Tujuan penelitian ini (1)mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan siswa, (2) mengetahui sikap siswa dalammengelola sapmah, (3) mengetahui pengaruh tingkat pengetahuan terhadap sikap siswa dalammengelola sampah. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel yang digunakanproportional random sampling. Teknk pengumpulan data berupa: soal, angket, observasi,wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan regresilinear sederhana. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan siswa menunjukkan kriteriasangat baik dengan modus 64% atau sebanyak 54 siswa. Sebaran pengetahuan kognitif siswa tiaptingkatan atau tiap indikator yaitu mengetahui 74 siswa, memahami 36 siswa, menerapkan 42 siswa,menganalisis 32 siswa, mensisntesis 38 siswa dan mengevaluasi 84 siswa. Sedangkan sikap siswadalam mengelola sampah termasuk kriteria baik dengan modus 76% atau sebanyak 65 siswa.Berdasarkan hasil pengujian regresi linear sederhana bahwa variabel pengetahuan terhadap variabelsikap terdapat pengaruh dengan nilai signifikansi 0,007, besarnya pengaruh tersebut yaitu nilai Rsquare menunjukkan 85%. Saran, perlu meningkatkan pengetahuan kognitif pada tingkatanmenaganlisis, agar siswa mampu berpikir kritis. Kemudian perlu meningkatkan penguatan sikapmerespon siswa dalam pengelolaan sampah agar lebih baik.
