Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan implementasi kebijakan sekolah terbuka di SMP Terbuka 3 Tempel Kabupaten Sleman. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan subyek Kepala Sekolah, Wali Kelas dan Guru, dan Siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Karakteristik masalah belum semua masyarakat memperoleh pendidikan dasar 9 tahun, banyak anak yang putus sekolah karena ekonomi orang tua yang rendah, di sisi lain mereka mempunyai keterbatasan waktu sehingga tidak dapat sekolah; 2) pengaruh lingkungan kebijakan seperti fasilitas yang diberikan perangkat desa, lingkungan yang kondusif, strategi dan adanya sekolah reguler; 3) Proses pembelajaran terlihat pasif. Saat proses pembelajaran berlangsung siswa sering membuat suasana kelas tidak kondusif. Strategi dan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan menggunakan metode ceramah dengan bantuan LCD, banyak memberikan tugas dan praktik; 4) Hasil belajar yang diperoleh berupa prestasi secara akademik maupun non akademik.Kata kunci: implementasi, sekolah terbukaAbstractThis research aims to describe the implementation of open school policy in Opening SMP 3 Tempel Sleman Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive research with subject of Headmaster, Homeroom Teacher and Teacher, and Student. Data collection techniques used interview techniques, observation and documentation. Data analysis by data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. Test data validity using source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of the study indicate that: 1) The characteristic of the problem is that not all people have 9 years of basic education, many children drop out due to poor parents economics, on the other hand they have limited time so they can not attend school; 2) the influence of the policy environment such as facilities provided by the village apparatus, a conducive environment, strategy and the presence of regular schools; 3) The learning process looks passive. When the learning process takes place students often make the classroom atmosphere is not conducive. Learning strategies and methods used using lecture methods with the help of LCD, many provide tasks and practices; 4) Learning outcomes obtained in the form of achievement in academic and non academic.Keywords: implementation, open school
