<![CDATA[AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola asuh (otoriter, permisif, demokratis) yang paling banyak digunakan oleh orang tua seniman dan untuk mengetahui metode yang digunakan dalam mendidik anak oleh orang tua seniman Ballet Ramayana.Jenis penelitin ini menggunakan penelitian kuantitaif, metode pengumpulan datanya menggunakan metode survei. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling purposive. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah orang tua seniman yang sdah memiliki anak sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah angket atau kuesioner dan observasi. Metode angket digunakan untuk megumpulkan data tentang pola asuh, sedangkan observasi digukan untuk mengetahui metode yang digunakan untuk mendidik anak. Uji validitas intrumen menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment dengan bantuan SPSS 20 dan uji reliabilitas menggunkan koefisien Alpha. Uji prasyartan analisis menggunkaan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Sedangkan untuk pegujian hipotesis dengan menggunakan One Away-Anova.Berdasarkan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ada perbedaan antara ketiga pola asuh otoriter, pola asuh permisif, dan pola asuh demokratis. Ketiga pola asuh dapat dikelompokkan menjadi dua. Pertama adalah pola asuh permisif dan otoriter memiliki nilai 0,954. Kedua adalah pola asuh demokratis memiliki nilai 1,00. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pola asuh demokratis memberikan pengaruh paling baik. Metode yang digunakan dalam mendidik anak-anak seniman, orang tua seniman menggunakan metode memberikan contoh (teladan), metode pembiasaan, dan metode diskusi.Kata Kunci: Pola Asuh, Orang Tua Seniman, Ballet RamayanaAbstractThis research aims to find out the parenting style (authoritarian style, permissive style, democratic style) mostly used by the parents as the artists and to understand the method employed to educate the children of Ramayana Ballet artists.This is a quantitative research with the survey method as the data collection method. Samples were chosen using purposive sampling technique. Samples in this research are the parents as the artists that have schoolchildren. The method applied in this research is questionnaire and observation. The questionnaire method is to collect the data regarding the parenting style, and the observation method is to find out the method in educating the children. The test for instrument validity using product-moment correlation with a help of SPSS 20, and the test of reliability employs coefficient Alpha. The test of requirement analysis is normality and homogeneity test. The test of hypothesis applied One-way Anova.Based on the data analysis one-way Anova, there is a significant result 0,000 stating that that there found differences of parenting style of the parents in authoritarian style, permissive style, and democratic style. These three parenting style can be grouped into two. First, the value of permissive style and authoritative style is 0,954. Second, the value of democratic style is 1,00. It can be concluded that the democratic style gives the best impact to the children.
