IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN KETERAMPILAN (VOKASIONAL) MELALUI PROGRAM LIFE SKILL DI SMA MUHAMMADIYAH 1 MUNTILAN

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) Implementasi Pendidikan Keterampilan (Vokasional) melalui Program Life Skill di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan, 2) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaan pendidikan keterampilan (vokasional) melalui program life skill di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subyeknya yaitu kepala sekolah, koordinator life skill dan pendidik, peserta didik. Pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja implementasi pendidikan life skill ditentukan melalui; (a) Standar pelaksanaan sesuai dengan bakat dan minat peserta didik; (b) Sumberdaya terdiri dari peserta didik, pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, serta sarana dan prasarana yang memadai; (c) Hubungan organisasi yang terjalin yaitu antara sekolah dengan Yayasan Muhammadiyah dan SMA N 11 Yogyakarta; (d) Karakteristik agen pelaksana adanya pendidik yang kompeten (e) Kondisi sosial berupa interaksi yang baik antar agen pelaksana, kondisi ekonomi yaitu adanya Rencana Anggaran Pendapatan dan Belanja Sekolah; (f) Disposisi implementor berupa respon, pemahaman dan nilai yang positif. Faktor pendukung implementasi pendidikan keterampilan yaitu dukungan dari yayasan, fasilitas yang memadai, pengampu yang kompeten dan antusiasme peserta didik. Faktor penghambatnya yaitu kurangnya waktu pembelajaranyang hanya 3 jam perminggu dan keterbatasan dana.Kata Kunci: implementasi, pendidikan keterampialn (vokasional), Sekolah Menengah AtasAbstractThis research aims to desribe: 1) Implementation of Skill Education (Vocational) through Life Skill Programin SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan, 2) Supporting factors and inhibiting the implementation of Skill Education (Vocational) through Life Skill Program in SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Muntilan. This research ia a qualitative descriptive research. The subject is the principal, life skill coordinator or teacher, and student. Technique of collecting data is using observation, interview, and documentation. Data analsys is done by data condensation, data presentation, and conclusion. Test data validity using triangulation of sources and techniques. The result showed that the performance of educational life skill implementionis determined through ; (a) Standards implementation is talents and interests the student; (b) resources consist of student, teacher, education personel, and facilities and infrastructures; (c) Organizational relationship that exists between schools with Muhammadiyah Foundation and SMA N 11 Yogyakarta; (d) the characteristics of the implementing agents of competent educators; (e) social condition of good interaction between implementing agencies, the economic condition is the existence of the budget plan of income and expenditure of school (f)Disposition of the implementor in the form of response, understanding and positive value. Supporting factors the implementation of life skill education is the support of the foundation, adequate facilities, competent and enthusiastic students. Inhibiting factors are lack of learning time and limited funds.Keywords: implementation, vocational skill, high school.
