Jack in pile was chosen because it is based on field conditions and costs can be reduced due to erection which takes a long time. However, the purpose of the content of this study is to compare the cost and time of working on the foundation. As a comparison of the cost and time of foundation work using the jack in pile method carried out by the contractor, the authors compare it with the drop hammer piling method. By using time and cost analysis, it will be obtained a comparison of time and cost which is chosen from the two piling methods which is more efficient in use in the project area. After analyzing the time and costs of the two methods, the results obtained in terms of the specifications of the tool for the use of the jack in pile method chosen by the contractor can complete the erection according to the productivity analyzed for 4 working days and costs Rp. 125,000,000.00. Whereas for the drop hammer method, it is found that the erection work for 14 working days at a cost of Rp. 33,600,000.00. From the results of time and cost analysis of the two methods, the use of the jack in pile method is more efficient in terms of working time and for the drop hammer method it is more efficient in terms of cost. So from the two tools that can be used as a recommendation for use is to use the jack in pile method. Jack in pile dipilih karena berdasarkan keadaan lapangan serta biaya yang bisa ditekan karena pemancangan yang membutuhkan waktu cukup lama. Namun adapun tujuan dari isi penelitian ini untuk membandingkan biaya dan waktu pengerjaan pondasi. Sebagai pembanding biaya dan waktu pengerjaaan pondasi menggunakan metode jack in pile yang dilaksanakan oleh kontraktor, penulis membandingkan dengan metode pemancangan drop hammer. Dengan menggunakan analisis waktu dan biaya lamanya pengerjaan akan didapat perbandingan waktu dan biaya mana yang dipilih dari dua metode pemancangan tersebut yang lebih efisien dalam penggunaan di daerah proyek. Setelah dilakukan analisis waktu dan biaya dari kedua metode tersebut didapatkan hasil yang ditinjau dari spesifikasi alat untuk penggunaan metode jack in pile yang dipilih oleh kontraktor dapat menyelesaikan pemancangan sesuai dengan produktifitas yang dianalisis selama 4 hari bekerja dan menghabiskan biaya sebesar Rp 125.000.000,00. Sedangkan untuk metode drop hammer didapatkan pekerjaan pemancangan selama 14 hari bekerja dengan biaya sebesar Rp 33.600.000,00. Dari hasil analisis waktu dan biaya dari kedua metode tersebut penggunaan metode jack in pile lebih efisien dari segi waktu pekerjaan dan untuk metode drop hammer lebih efisien dari segi biaya. Maka dari kedua alat tersebut yang dapat dijadikan rekomendasi penggunaan adalah menggunakan metode jack in pile.
