Abstract

Kata Kunci: Zero waste, Tenun lurik, Celana ABSTRACT The concept of zero waste has been a fairly important program for some time in several cities or countries. With the rapid human population and its consumptive type towards fashion needs, the fashion industry produces large-scale production. The impact is leaving waste production which is increasingly abundant. There is a need for innovation and engineering in making clothing that have minimal waste, so that a clean and healthy work environment can be enjoyed. This training presents material for making trousers which applies the concept of zero waste using woven cloth with lurik pattern. The manufacturing process is carried out without a pattern from paper but is directly drawn on the cloth, thus saving time or making the manufacturing process faster. Using striped / lurik weaving, it produces casual trousers which are quite beautiful because they produce variations of the direction of the striated lines. The methods used include lectures, demonstrations, mentoring, independent assignments. The goal is to equip the community with skills that can be used as skills that can increase works of economic value. Keywords: Zero waste, Lurik weaving, Pants
