<![CDATA[Soursop (Annona muricata L) is one of the native tropical fruit plants used to treat headaches, hypertension, coughs, asthma, and sedatives. Of the many medicinal plants, soursop leaves are used traditionally to treat inflammation. This study aims to determine the content of active compounds contained in soursop leaf extract with several solvents in the maceration processThe extraction method used in this research is the maceration method using 70% ethanol as a solvent. The extract obtained is then evaporated using a rotary evaporator until thickened, then dried with the help of a water bath. The resulting viscous extract was put into a portion of porcelain and the extract was weighed. The phytochemical tests that were carried out were saponins, flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins and steroids. The results of this study from the test, it was known that the soursop leaf extract sample with positive methanol solvent contained several active compounds in the form of flavonoids, saponins, tannin alkaloids, and steroids. The conclusion of The implication of this research is soursop leaf extract with active compounds in the form of flavonoids, saponins, and tannins which have the ability as antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and inhibit bacterial growth or even die, and are able to prevent cancer.Researchers concluded that the soursop (Annona muricata L.) leaf extract contains active compounds in the form of alkaloids, tannins, saponins, steroids, flavonoids. The bioactive compounds contained in the soursop leaf extract can inhibit the growth of pathogenic bacteria so that they can be used as complementary anti-inflammatory and antibacterial therapies.]]>
