<![CDATA[Pentingnya kemampuan komunikasi matematis menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Diperlukan model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis misalnya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Group Investigation dan Team Quiz.Tujuan penelitian mengkaji perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dengan kedua model pembelajaran tersebut. Penelitian berbentuk kuasi eksperimen dengan desain the nonequivment control group design. Populasi yaitu seluruh siswa kelas X salah satu SMK di Garut, dengan sampel dua kelas. Instrumen berbentuktes kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan angket kemandirian belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perbedaan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa pada kedua kelas hanya terjadi pada kemandirian belajar sedang. Adapun kualitas peningkatannya, untuk kelas Group Investigation, semua kualitas peningkatannya memiliki interpretasi sedang. Sedangkan untuk kelas Team Quiz, ditinjau dari kemandirian belajar rendah dan sedang memiliki interpretasi rendah, sedangkan untuk kemandirian belajar tinggi memiliki interpretasi sedang.The importance of mathematical communication skills is the background of this research. An appropriate learning model is needed to improve mathematical communication skills, such as the Group Investigation and Team Quiz cooperative learning models. The purpose of the study was to examine the differences in students' mathematical communication skills with the two learning models. The research is a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The population is all students of class X of one of the SMK in Garut, with a sample of two classes. The instrument is in the form of a mathematical communication ability test and a student learning independence questionnaire. The results showed that the difference in students' mathematical communication skills in the two classes only occurred in moderate learning independence. As for the upgrade quality, for the Group Investigation class, all the upgrade qualities have a moderate interpretation. As for the Team Quiz class, in terms of low and medium learning independence, it has a low interpretation, while for high learning independence it has a medium interpretation.]]>
