Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui perbedaan persepsi konsumen generasi X dan Y pada kualitas lingkungan fisik kafe Petrichor. Penelitian ini mengukur lingkungan fisik dengan dimensi DINESCAPE: facility aesthetic, ambience, lighting, layout, dan service staff. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan persepsi yang tidak signifikan antara kedua generasi ini terhadap kelima dimensi lingkungan fisik kafe Petrichor secara keseluruhan. Namun pada uji signifikansi per indikator terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara generasi X dan Y pada indikator tanaman, furnitur, dan aroma di kafe Petrichor.Kata Kunci: persepsi, generasi X, generasi Y, lingkungan fisik, kafeAbstract: This study was intended to determine differences in consumer perceptions of generation X and Y on Petrichor cafe's physical environment quality. Physical environment was measured using DINESCAPE dimensions; facility aesthetic, ambience, lighting, layout, and service staff. There was no significant difference in perception between these two generations towards the five dimensions of Petrichor café’s physical environment as a whole.
