<![CDATA[ABSTRACT Nurses have different motivations, and experience in carrying out care in conditions during the COVID-19 pandemic has the potential to cause long-term and short-term consequences for nurses, the social environment, and other health professions (Fernandes et al, 2020). motivation or encouragement from within the nurse will be needed in supporting the success of the patient safety implementation program. (Toode, Kristi, 2015) With the quality of nurse performance, it is increasingly demanded to improve the quality of health services. Knowing the work motivation of nurses, nurse performance, and the application of patient safety during the COVID-19 pandemic in the Cilandak Marine Hospital inpatient room, knowing whether there is a relationship between work motivation and nurse performance in implementing patient safety in the Cilandak Marine Hospital inpatient room. This quantitative research is correlational research with a cross-sectional approach, with a sample of 85 people from the inpatient ward of the Cilandak Marine Hospital, with a total sampling technique. The research instrument consisted of 3 questionnaires that had been tested for validity and reliability with Cronbach's alpha coefficient value > 0.90, the data was then analyzed with descriptive statistics to determine the relationship between work motivation and nurse performance in the application of patient safety in the inpatient room of the hospital. Cilandak Marines. The results showed that there was a relationship between work motivation and the application of patient safety (p-value 0.05). Nurses who have work motivation in the good category have a relationship with improving the performance of nurses who are good and very good at their work. Keywords: Work Motivation, Nurse Performance, Patient Safety Implementation ABSTRAK Perawat mempunyai motivasi yang berbeda-beda, pengalaman dalam melakukan perawatan pada kondisi masa pandemic covid-19 ini berpotensi menyebabkan konsekuensi jangka panjang dan jangka pendek bagi diri perawat, lingkungan sosial dan profesi kesehatan lainnya (Fernandes dkk, 2020). motivasi atau dorongan dari dalam diri perawat akan diperlukan dalam mendukung keberhasilan program pelaksanaan patient safety.(Toode, Kristi, 2015) Dengan kualitas kinerja perawat semakin dituntut untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan Kesehatan. Tujuan untuk mengetahui motivasi kerja perawat, kinerja perawat, dan penerapan patient safety pada masa pandemic covid-19 di ruang rawat inap RS Marinir Cilandak, mengetahui adakah hubungan antara motivasi kerja dengan kinerja perawat dalam penerapan patient safety di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Marinir Cilandak. Penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional dengan pendekatan cross sectional, dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 85 orang yang berasal dari ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Marinir Cilandak, dengan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari 3 kuesioner yang telah di uji validas dan realibilitasnya dengan nilai koefisien cronbach’s alpha >0,90, data kemudian di analisis dengan descriptive statistic untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara motivasi kerja dengan kinerja perawat dalam penerapan patient safety di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Marinir Cilandak. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa adanya hubungan antara motivasi kerja dan penerapan patient safety (p value 0,05). Perawat yang memiliki motivasi kerja dalam kategori baik maka ada kaitannya dengan peningkatan kinerja perawat yang baik dan sangat bagus untuk pekerjaannya.
