Abstract

Penggantian transformator daya PLTG Muara Karang Unit GT 1. 3 dari vektor group YNd1 menjadiYNd11 akan menyebabkan perbedaan sudut fasa pada sisi sekundernya, dari 300 menjadi -300.Perbedaan sudut fasa tersebut akan berpengaruh pada kerja rele diferensial transformator daya. Arusyang masuk pada rele diferensial akan menjadi lebih besar dari 0,0414 A menjadi 4,3204 A. Danmenyebabkan rele bekerja saat kondisi normal operasi karena setting rele diferensial adalah 1,5 A.Untuk mengatasi masalah pada rele diferensial dilakukan perubahan sambungan vektor group padaACT rele diferensial yang berfungsi sebagai penyesuai arus dan penyesuai sudut fasa. Sehingaperbedaan arus dari kedua sisi rele diferensial menjadi 0,1079 A dan rele diferensial tidak bekerja saatkondisi normal operasi.Replacement of power transformer in PLTG Muara Karang Unit GT 1. 3 from YNd1 into YNd11 vectorgroup will lead to phase angle difference at the secondary side from 300into -300. The difference inphase angle will influence the performance of differential rele in power transformer. The incomingcurrent to the differential rele will increase from 0. 0414 A into 4. 3204 A, which causes the rele to workat normal operatingcondition because the setting of differential rele is 1. 5 A. To overcome thisdifferential rele problem, a change in vector group connection was conducted on an ACT differentialrele that functions as a current and phase angle adjuster. Therefore the difference in current betweenboth sides ofdifferential rele lowers to0. 1079 A and the rele cannot work at normal operating condition.
