<![CDATA[AbstrakLatar Belakang Tingginya angka persalinan section caesarea dipengaruhi banyak hal. Salah satunya adalah trauma persalinan pada ibu dikarenakan waktu persalinan yang cukup lama. Hal tersebut dapat dikarenakan posisi persalinan yang tidak tepat. Sebagian kematian maternal dan perinatal banyak terjadi pada saat persalinan. Salah satu penyebabnya kala II lama (37%) dan asfiksia pada bayi (28%) (Depkes RI, 2009).Tujuan: untuk mengetahui perbedaan posisi persalinan setengah duduk dan miring ke kiri terhadap lamanya kala II di RSU. Rhidos Tahun 2020.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen statis group comparison,Sampel penelitian semua ibu bersalin primigravida dengan asuhan persalinan normal, dibagi dalam 2 kelompok yaitu kelompok dengan posisi persalinan setengah duduk sebanyak 20 responden dan kelompok posisi persalinan miring kiri sebanyak 20 responden.Analisis data menggunakan analisa univariat disajikan dengan distribusi frekuensi, dan analisis bivariat untuk mengetahui perbedaan lama kala II dengan posisi miring kiri dan posisi semi fowler/setengah duduk dengan menggunakan uji T test independen.Hasil: Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa kelompok posisi persalinan setengah duduk adalah 87,5 menit, didapatkan nilai p = 0,029 berarti nilai p dari alpha (0,05) dan pada posisi setengah duduk dengan α 0,05 (p-value = 0,029). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya terdapat perbedaan efektifitas posisi miring dan posisi setengah duduk terhadapa kelancaran proses persalinanSimpulan: Posisi Ibu bersalin pada kala II lebih cepat pada posisi setengah duduk dari pada posisi miring. terdapat perbedaan efektivitas posisi miring dan posisi setengah duduk terhadap kelancaran proses melahirkan. Kata Kunci : Lama Kala II, Posisi Setengah Duduk, Posisi Miring KiriTHE EFFECTIVENESS OF TRIAL POSITION AND HALF-SITTING POSITION IN SECOND STAGE LABOR TO REDUCE TRAUMA IN NORMAL DELIVERY IN RSU. It can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that there is a difference in the effectiveness of the tilted position and the half-sitting position towards the smoothness of the labor process.Conclusion: The position of the mother giving birth in stage II is faster in a half-sitting position than on her side.
