<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan ciri penanda tanggapan positif dan ciri penanda tanggapan negatif netizen dalam instagram. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Objek penelitian yang ditelaah adalah komentar netizen dalam akun instagram @nadiemmakarim. Data dianalisis menggunakan teori Martin & White yang membagi sikap (attitude) menjadi perasaan (affect), penilaian karakter (judgement), dan apresiasi (appreciation). Dari hasil analisis ditemukan ciri penanda tanggapan positif perasaan senang atau gembira yang ditandai dengan kata ‘senang’, perasaan puas yang ditandai dengan kata ‘sip’, perasaan rasa aman yang ditandai dengan kata ‘tenang’, penilaian karakter lahiriah yang ditandai dengan kata ‘santun’, ‘sopan’, dan frasa ‘berbesar hati’, penilaian karakter dapat diandalkan yang ditandai dengan frasa ‘makin dukung mas Menteri’, penilaian karakter kejujuran yang ditandai dengan kata ‘percaya’, dan ciri penanda tanggapan negatif perasaan tidak senang atau gembira yang ditandai dengan kata ‘sedih’, ‘capek’, perasaan tidak puas ditandai dengan klausa, penilaian karakter lahiriah negatif ditandai dengan kata ‘marah-marah’ dan klausa, penilaian karakter kapasitas ditandai dengan klausa dan kalimat perintah, penilaian karakter dapat diandalkan yang ditandai dengan frasa ‘klarifikasi tidak menjawab’, penilaian karakter kejujuran yang ditandai dengan frasa ‘tidak memiliki kepercayaan’, dan apresiasi terhadap penilaian yang ditandai dengan frasa ‘lebih baik’, ‘lebih maju’. Kata kunci: Instagram, negatif, netizen, positif, tanggapan. ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the characteristics of the markers of positive responses, and the characteristics of the markers of negative responses of netizens on Instagram. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The object of research used is netizen comments on the Instagram account @nadiemmakarim. The data used in this study was taken from the comments column on the results of netizens' responses to speech posts in the @nadiemmakarim Instagram account. Furthermore, the data that has been obtained is analyzed using Martin & White's theory which divides attitudes into feelings (affects), character assessment (judgment), and appreciation (appreciation). From the results of the analysis found the form of a positive response feeling happy or happy which is marked by the word 'happy', a feeling of satisfaction which is marked by the word 'sip', a feeling of security which is marked by the word 'calm', an outward character assessment which is marked by the word 'calm'.
