<![CDATA[Tujuan penelitian menganalisis efektivitas perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen dalam transaksi e-commerce di Kota Sengkang dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi. Peneltian ini menggunakan metode penelitian empiris. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : (1) efektivitas perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen dalam transaksi e-commerce di Kota Sengkang masih kurang efektif (2) adapun faktor-faktor yang mempengauhi perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen dalam transaksi e-commerce di Kota Sengkang datang oleh pelaku usaha, konsumen dan pemerintah setempat itu sendiri yaitu rendahnya tingkat pengetahuan konsumen mengenai hak-haknya, rendahnya kesadaran pelaku usaha dalam menjalankan usahanya, kurangnya perhatian pemerintah setempat terhadap perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen daalm transaksi e-commerce, masih lemahnya pengawasan dibidang perlindungan hukum terhadap konsumen dalam transaksi e-commerce, kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat setempat mengenai tempat pengaduan apabila mengalami kerugian atai sengketa pada konsumen. The research objective to analyze the effectiveness of legal protection against consumers in e-commerce transactions in Sengkang City and the factors that influence it. This research uses empirical research methods. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the effectiveness of legal protection for consumers in e-commerce transactions in Sengkang City is still less effective (2) as for the factors that influence legal protection for consumers in e-commerce transactions in Sengkang City come by business actors , consumers and the local government itself, namely the low level of consumer knowledge about their rights, the low awareness of business actors in running their business, the lack of attention from the local government to legal protection for consumers in e-commerce transactions, still weak supervision in the field of legal protection for consumers in transactions. e-commerce, the lack of knowledge of the local community about the place of complaint when experiencing losses or disputes with consumers]]>
