PENGATURAN KECEPATAN MOTOR DC DENGAN DC DRIVE SINAMICS DCM PADA SIZE PRESS

Abstract

Direct current (DC) motors have a wide-speed range control compared to alternating current (AC) motors, that is why they are still widely used in industries such as paper mills, textiles, and factories whose production requires wide-speed range. This paper discusses the DC motor speed control. Sinamics DCM is used in master-slave configuration for load sharing process. Drive in the top roll work as master and drive in the bottom roll work as a slave. The load distribution in the size press rolls is very important. Base on calculation and analysis we can conclude that Sinamic DCM can control the DC motor speed by adjusting the voltage applied to the motor. Keywords: DC drive, DC motor, Sinamics DCM, Size PressMotor arus searah (direct current/dc motor) mempunyai daerah pengaturan putaran yang luas dibandingkan dengan motor arus bolak balik (alternating current/ac motor), sehingga masih banyak digunakan di industri seperti pabrik kertas, tekstil, dan pabrik yang produksinya memerlukan pengaturan putaran yang luas. Pada tulisan ini dibahas pengaturan kecepatan motor DC. Pada proses pembagian beban, Sinamics DCM bekerja dengan sistem master-slave, dimana setiap drive memiliki peranan masing-masing, drive pada top roll bekerja sebagai master dan drive pada bottom roll bekerja sebagai slave.Dari hasil perhitungan dan analisis dapat disimpulkan bahwa Sinamics DCM terbukti mengatur kecepatan motor DC dengan mengatur besar tegangan yang diberikan kepada motor.  Kata kunci: DC Drive, Motor DC, Sinamics DCM, Size Press
