This study aimed to investigate the effect of monitoring the use of Kartu Isi Piringku (KARIPKU) on the knowledge and compliance of elementary school students in using this media as a means of promoting balanced nutrition. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The participants were 38 students in grades IV, V, and VI of SDN 01 Wawolemo, who were selected using total sampling. All participants were given KARIPKU as an intervention media for one month, and their compliance was assessed during lunch and dinner. The results showed that there was a significant difference in the level of knowledge before and after the intervention, but no difference was found in compliance. The findings suggest that KARIPKU can be an effective means of promoting balanced nutrition among elementary school students.
