<![CDATA[Things that can be done in overcoming the problem of tooth loss is the use of dentures. Dentures are teeth created by humans to replace damaged teeth due to the inability of humans to maintain healthy teeth. To beautify the appearance of their teeth, many people make dentures. The choice of dentures can be caused by a lifestyle that includes the amount of salary or income, type of work and level of education. This study aims to determine the effect of lifestyle on the selection of denture types. The design of this study was cross-sectional, with 100 respondents. Data was collected through filling out questionnaires and then analyzed using the Chi-square test. The results showed that the p-value for each lifestyle was: income = 0.050, occupation = 0.000 and education = 0.001. Thus it is concluded that there is a relationship between income, employment and education with the choice of dentures.Keywords: dentures; lifestyle; income; work; education ABSTRAK Hal yang dapat dilakukan dalam mengatasi masalah kehilangan gigi adalah penggunaan gigi tiruan. Gigi tiruan merupakan gigi hasil kreasi manusia untuk mengganti gigi yang rusak akibat ketidakmampuan manusia dalam menjaga kesehatan gigi. Untuk memperindah tampilan giginya, banyak orang membuat gigi tiruan. Pemilihan gigi tiruan bisa disebabkan oleh gaya hidup yang mencakup jumlah gaji atau penghasilan, jenis pekerjaan dan tingkat pendidikannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya hidup terhadap pemilihan jenis gigi tiruan. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah cross-sectional, dengan jumlah responden 100 orang. Data dikumpulkan melalui pengisian kuesioner lalu dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi-square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai p untuk masing-masing gaya hidup yaitu: penghasilan = 0,050, pekerjaan = 0,000 dan pendidikan = 0,001. Dengan demikian disimpulkan bahwa ada hubungan antara penghasilan, pekerjaan dan pendidikan dengan pemilihan gigi tiruan.Kata kunci: gigi tiruan; gaya hidup; penghasilan; pekerjaan; pendidikan]]>
