<![CDATA[ASI eksklusif adalah memberikan ASI saja tanpa makanan tambahan lain sampai bayi berusia 6 bulan kecuali vitamin dan obat-obatan. ASI diproduksi karena pengaruh hormone prolactin dan oksitosin setelah kelahiran bayi. ASI pertama yang keluar disebut kolostrum dan mengandung banyak immunoglobin IgA yang baik untuk mempertahankan tubuh bayi melawan penyakit.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional yang diambil menggunakan teknik jugdement sampling. Yang berjumlah 40 responden.Hasil dari peneliti yaitu Sebagian besar responden memiliki pengetahuan yang baik tentang ASI Eksklusif sebanyak 37 responden (92,5%). Dari hasil analisis data dengan uji Fisher’s Exact didapatkan nilai P-Value< 0,05 (0.004).Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu ada hubungan pengetahuan ibu dengan pemberian air susu ibu eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tanjung Uncang karena tingkat pengetahuan ibu tentang ASI Eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Tanjung Uncang mayoritas baik. RELATIONSHIP OF MOTHER'S KNOWLEDGE WITH EXCLUSIVE BREASTMILK IN BABIES AGED 0 - 6 MONTHS AbstractExclusive breastfeeding is defined as feeding breast milk without any additional nutritions, except vitamins and medications, until a baby is 6 months old. Breast milk is produced due to the effect of prolactin hormone and oxytocin after birth. The first form of breast milk is called colostrum and contains much immunoglobin IgA which is beneficial to sustain a baby's body against illness.This research is a quantitative analytical survey with cross sectional approach which uses judgment sampling method with 40 respondents in total.Results found by thus researcher is that most respondents have good knowledge on exclusive breastfeeding, consisting of 37 respondents (92,5%). From data analysis results with Fisher’s Exact test, the p value is under 0.05 (i.e. 0.004).It is concluded that there are correlations between the knowledge of the mother with exclusive breastfeeding in Puskesmas Tanjung Uncang because the level of knowledge of most mother towards exclusive breastfeeding in Puskesmas Tanjung Uncang is good.]]>
