<![CDATA[ABSTRACT The purpose of the Classroom Action Research is to determine how the effectiveness of the Application of Demonstration Methods in Learning Colloidal Materials Chemistry can improve student learning outcomes in twelve class natural science MA DDI Entrop Jayapura. The research is classroom action research. The results of studies are: The effectiveness of applying the demonstration method in learning colloidal chemistry can improve learning outcomes. The results obtained from this study indicate that the effectiveness of the application demonstration method can improve student learning outcomes. Before applying the demonstration method, the students learning outcomes of twelve class natural science MA DDI Entrop Jayapura an average score of 61.20 in cycle I and cycle II increased to 83.00 where the average score shows that the effectiveness of the implementation of the demonstration method is quite effective with an N-gain Score of 56.19. Keywords: effectiveness, demonstration method, learning outcomes ABSTRAK Tujuan dari Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini adalah untuk mengetahui efektivitas Penerapan Metode Demonstrasi Pada Pembelajaran Kimia Materi Koloid. Penerapan metode demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran kimia diharapkan dapat membangun pemahaman peserta didik sendiri melalui pengalaman-pengalaman belajar dan dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas XII IPA DDI Entrop Jayapura. Penelitian merupakan Penilitian Tindakan kelas. Dengan hasil peneliti yaitu: Efektifitas penerapan metode demonstrasi pada pembelajaran kimia materi koloid dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa efektifitas penerapan metode demonstrasi, dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Sebelum menerapkan metode demonstrasi, hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XII IPA DDI Entrop Jayapura dengan rata-rata skor, 61,20 pada siklus I dan siklus II mengalami peningkatan menjadi 83,00. Dimana dari rata skor tersebut menunjukan bahwa efektifitas penerapan metode demonstrasi cukup efektif dengan N-gain Score 56,19.
