<![CDATA[Latar belakang: Pembelajaran klinik berupa praktik klinik kebidanan merupakan praktik lanjutan setelah mahasiswa berhasil lulus pada praktik di laboratorium. Proses belajar mahasiswa dipengaruhi faktor dari internal dan eksternal dirinya.Tujuan: Mengidentifikasi karakteristik mahasiswa praktik klinik kebidanan IMetode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang dianalisa secara deskriptif. Sampel penelitian adalah mahasiswa praktik klinik kebidanan I sejumlah 25 responden. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner.Hasil: Didapatkan bahwa karakteristik mahasiswa adalah rata-rata nilai Indeks Prestasi kumulatif (IPK) mahasiswa semester II adalah 3,29, pendidikan ayah terakhir yang terbanyak adalah pada tingkat SMA (40%) sedangkan ibu pendidikannya yang terbanyak adalah setingkat SD (40%). Selain itu juga ada data mengenai pekerjaan ayah dan ibu, pekerjaan ayah yang terbesar adalah pedagang (36%), sedangkan pada ibu hasil yang terbanyak adalah tidak bekerja atau hanya ibu rumah tangga (IRT) (64%).Kesimpulan: Karakteristik mahasiswa praktik klinik kebidanan I yaitu IPK rata-rata dinilai 3,29, pendidikan ayah sebagian besar SMA (40%), pendidikan ibu sebagian besar SD (40%), pekerjaan ayah yang terbesar adalah pedagang (36%) dan ibu hasil yang terbanyak tidak bekerja atau hanya ibu rumah tangga (IRT) (64%). Kata Kunci: Karakteristik Mahasiswa, Praktik Klinik Kebidanan Background: Clinical learning in the form of clinical practice in the field of midwifery is an advanced practice after students have successfully passed laboratory practice.
