Abstract

Sepanjang peradaban manusia ada, pertanyaan mendasar tentang “how shall we live” telah selalu ada. Herman J. Pietersen telah berusaha menjawab pertanyaan tersebut melalui telaah filsafat hukum. Salah satu hasil analisis meta-paradigmatik dari Pietersen adalah adanya tipe filsafat spekulatif. Berdasarkan analisis dan pembahasan terhadap pemikiran para filsuf barat, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tipe objectivist-idealist jurisprudence identik dengan cabang hukum legal naturalism.
