Analisa Keruntuhan Bendungan Gembong Di Kabupaten Pati Dengan Menggunakan Program Zhong Xing HY21

Abstract

A dam is a structure built across a river to hold back water. Reservoirs created by dams not only suppress floods but also provide water for activities such as for water, irrigation, power generation, and flood control. But behind the benefits that can be obtained from dams, dams also have a large potential hazard in the form of the possibility of a dam break. The main causes of dam break are overtopping and pipping. So that analysis is needed related to dam break to minimize the impact. Based on the Zhong Xing HY21 software, the most severe impact of the break of the Gembong Dam was due to overtopping using the QInflow PMF design flood of 780,967 m3/s and resulted in an inundation area of 54,682 km2 with a maximum inundation height of 5,129 m. As a result of the break of the Gembong Dam, 37 villages downstream of the Gembong Dam were flooded. There are 80,819 people affected by this risk and it is stated that all affected villages are at the 4th hazard classification level or very high hazard. Bendungan adalah suatu struktur dibangun di sungai untuk menahan air. Waduk yang diciptakan oleh bendungan tidak hanya menekan banjir tapi juga menyediakan air untuk kegiatan seperti irigasi, pembangkit tenaga listrik, dan pengendali banjir. Namun di samping manfaatnya yang besar, pembangunan bendungan juga berpotensi membahayakan keselamatan masyarakat, yakni berupa keruntuhan bendungan. Penyebab utama dari keruntuhan bendungan adalah overtopping dan pipping. Sehingga diperlukan analisis terkait keruntuhan bendungan untuk meminimalisir dampak yang ditimbulkan. Berdasarkan software Zhong Xing HY21, dampak keruntuhan Bendungan Gembong yang paling parah disebabkan karena overtopping dengan menggunakan QInflow banjir desain PMF sebesar 780,967 m3/det dan menghasilkan luas genangan 54,682 km2 dengan tinggi genangan maksimum 5,129 m. Akibat keruntuhan Bendungan Gembong, 37 desa di hilir Bendungan Gembong terkena banjir. Terdadpat 80.819 jiwa penduduk terkena risiko tersebut dan dinyatakan bahwa seluruh desa terdampak berada pada tingkat klasifikasi bahaya ke-4 atau bahaya sangat tinggi.
