PENGARUH DOSIS TEPUNG KANGKUNG AIR, PAKAN KOMERSIAL SERTA KOMBINASI TEPUNG KANGKUNG AIR DENGAN PAKAN KOMERSIAL TERHADAP LAJU PERTUMBUHAN BENIH IKAN NILA (Oreochromis niloticus): THE EFFECT OF WATER SPINACH MEAL DOSAGE IN COMMERCIAL FEED ON FEED CONVERSION RATIO AND RELATIVE GROWTH RATE OF TILAPIA (Oreochromis niloticus) SEED

Abstract

Penggunaan dosis tepung kangkung air untuk menurunkan rasio konversi pakan perlu ditelusuri dalam menunjang laju pertumbuhan relatif ikan nila. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan dosis pakan kangkung air yang dicampur pakan komersial dalam menentukan pakan yang optimal selama pembenihan ikan nila. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap terdiri dari 3 taraf perlakuan dan 3 taraf ulangan yaitu perlakuan A (4 gram tepung kangkung air tanpa campuran), perlakuan B (3 gram tepung kangkung air dicampur 2 gram pakan komersial), perlakuan C (2 gram tepung kangkung air dicampur 2 gram pakan komersial). Pakan akan diujicobakan pada benih ikan nila ukuran panjang awal 3-5 cm dengan padat tebar 10 ekor per wadah toples. Uji coba pakan untuk melihat laju pertumbuhan relatif dan rasio konversi pakan selama 30 hari dengan jumlah pakan yang diberikan 3 kali sehari sebanyak 3% dari bobot biomassa tubuh secara at satiation. Hasil analisis sidik ragam terhadap FCR dan RGR berpengaruh nyata (p<0,05) untuk semua perlakuan sedangkan hasil uji lanjut menunjukkan perlakuan B terbaik dengan nilai FCR 0,65±0,09 dan nilai RGR sebesar 4,28±1,02%. Analisis sidik ragam terhadap kelangsungan hidup benih ikan nila menunjukkan semua perlakuan berpengaruh nyata (p<0,05) sedangkan hasil uji lanjut menunjukkan perlakuan C terbaik dengan nilai rataan kelangsungan hidup sebesar 96,67±5,77%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan dosis pakan yang optimal untuk pembenihan ikan nila adalah 3 gram tepung kangkung air dicampur 2 gram pakan komersial.   The use of water spinach flour doses to reduce the feed conversion ratio needs to be investigated in supporting the relative growth rate of tilapia. The aim of the study was to describe the use of water spinach feed doses mixed with commercial feed in determining the optimal feed for tilapia hatchery. This study used an experimental method with a completely randomized design consisting of 3 treatment levels and 3 repetition levels, namely treatment A (4 grams of water spinach flour without mixture), treatment B (3 grams of water spinach flour mixed with 2 grams of commercial feed), treatment C (2 grams of water spinach flour mixed with 2 grams of commercial feed). The feed will be tested on tilapia seeds with an initial length of 3-5 cm with a stocking density of 10 fish per jar. Feed trials to see the relative growth rate and feed conversion ratio for 30 days with the amount of feed given 3 times a day as much as 3% of body weight at satiation. The results of the analysis of variance on FCR and RGR had a significant effect (p <0.05) for all treatments, while the results of the follow-up test showed that treatment B was the best with an FCR value of 0.65 ± 0.09 and an RGR value of 4.28 ± 1.02%. Analysis of variance on the survival of tilapia fry showed that all treatments had a significant effect (p <0.05) while the results of the follow-up test showed that treatment C was the best with an average survival value of 96.67 ± 5.77%. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that the use of optimal feed doses for tilapia hatcheries is 3 grams of water spinach flour mixed with 2 grams of commercial feed.
