This study aims to find out (1) the influence of YouTube learning media on students learning motivation in generation Z; (2) the influence of social environment on students learning motivation in generation Z; and (3) the influence of YouTube learning media and social environment simultaneously on students learning motivation in generation Z. The study was conducted at SMK Negeri 3 Surakarta. This study used a quantitative method. The sample involved 304 students who used YouTube as their learning medium. The data was collected with Likert-scale questionnaires and analyzed with multiple linear regression. The results showed that (1) there was a positive and significant influence of YouTube learning media on students learning motivation of generation z (tcount 7,349 > ttable 1,650); (2) there was a positive and significant influence of social environment on students learning motivation of generation z (tcount 7,411 > ttable 1,650); and (3) there was a positive and significant influence of YouTube learning media and social environment simultaneously on students learning motivation of generation z (Fcount 94,798 > Ftable 3,026).
