<![CDATA[The purpose of this research is to analyze the law enforcement of decency offenses is committed by children in Polewali Mandar Regefncy. This research was conducted at Polewali Mandar Regional Police, Polewali Mandar District Attorney, and Polewali Mandar District Court, using an empirical normative research by collecting data through literature and interviews afterwards analyzed qualitatively. The result showed that the law enforcement against decency offenses which is committed by children in Polewali Mandar Regency have not been effective because of the investigator in carrying out examinations towards one of the child perpetrators who had committed decency offenses where the investigator terminates the investigation for the reason that the perpetrator has a mental disorder so that child cannot carry out criminal responsibility. Therefore that matter is beyond the authority of the investigator. While, the panel of judges who has the authority to determine whether a person cannot carry out a criminal responsibility due to a mental disorder.]]>
