Abstract

Adolescence is a period of transition from children to adults, which is marked by menstruation and requires special attention. Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) is important to practice to prevent reproductive tract infections and other complications. Purpose: This study aims to find out how MHM practices and related factors were during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: The research design used is quantitative analytic, with a cross-sectional approach. The number of samples is 156 respondents. Collecting data by interview and questionnaire. Data analysis with chi-square test and using SPSS application Result: MHM practice at SMPN 232 East Jakarta is in a good category at 85.9%, MHM knowledge at 66% is good and the knowledge variable, father's education, and mother's education variable are not related to MHM. Conclusion: The practice of MHM at SMPN 232 has been going well, and the supporting facilities and infrastructure have met the standard, on the variable knowledge, parental education is not related to MHM practice
