<![CDATA[Minat masyarakat dalam mengusahakan perkebunan kelapa sawit dipengaruhi oleh harga kelapa sawit itu sendiri. Harga yang tinggi dianggap menguntungkan pekebun, sehingga pekebun melakukan pembangunan kebun-kebun baru untuk meningkatkan pendapatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ekspansi perkebunan kelapa sawit di Provinsi Riau dan mengetahui nilai elastisitasnya. Data penelitian merupakan data sekunder berupa time series dengan jangka waktu tahun 2000-2020. Analisis data terdiri dari spesifikasi model, estimasi model, uji asumsi klasik, uji hipotesis, dan perhitungan elastisitas. Hasil penelitian diperoleh berdasarkan analisis regresi berganda harga TBS, karet dan CPO Malaysia tahun sebelumnya signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan luas perkebunan kelapa sawit rakyat, dengan nilai elastisitas harga TBS (0,0031%), harga karet (-0,0028), dan harga CPO (0,0014%). Pertumbuhan luas perkebunan kelapa sawit oleh perkebunan besar swasta secara signifikan dipengaruhi oleh harga TBS dan CPO Malaysia tahun sebelumnya, dengan nilai elastisitas harga TBS (0,0030%) dan harga CPO Malaysia (0,0028%). Kontribusi harga TBS, karet dan CPO Malaysia tahun sebelumnya terhadap perkebunan rakyat signifikan sebesar 88,6% dan pada perkebunan besar swasta signifikan sebesar 59,6%. Harga karet relatif lebih berpengaruh terhadap perkebunan rakyat daripada perkebunan swasta, sedangkan harga CPO Malaysia lebih berpengaruh terhadap perkebunan swasta daripada perkebunan rakyat. Community interest in cultivating oil palm plantations is influenced by the price of the oil palm itself. High prices are considered to be profitable for the smallholders, so the smallholders build new plantations to increase their income. The purpose of this study was to analyze the factors that influence the expansion of oil palm plantations in Riau Province and determine their elasticity. The research data is secondary data in the form of a time series with a period of 2000-2020. Data analysis consists of model specification, model estimation, classic assumption test, hypothesis test, and elasticity calculation. The results of the study were obtained based on multiple regression analysis of the previous year's FFB, rubber and Malaysian CPO prices significantly to the growth of smallholder oil palm plantations, with price elasticity values of FFB (0.0031%), rubber prices (-0.0028), and CPO prices ( 0.0014%). The growth in the area of oil palm plantations by large private estates was significantly influenced by the prices of Malaysian FFB and CPO in the previous year, with price elasticity values for FFB (0.0030%) and Malaysian CPO prices (0.0028%). The contribution of Malaysian FFB, rubber and CPO prices in the previous year to smallholder plantations was significant at 88.6% and to large private plantations it was significant at 59.6%. The price of rubber relatively has more influence on smallholder plantations than private plantations, while the price of Malaysian CPO has more influence on private plantations than smallholders.]]>
