<![CDATA[Halal certification in the Indonesian culinary micro industry is a necessity to meet the demands of Muslim consumers while at the same time supporting Indonesia's existence as the center of the Asian region's halal industry. The halal certification program has an impact on the culinary business sector that is rarely researched. This study aims to explore the relationship between halal certification of archipelago culinary products and business performance. There are six variables involved, namely culinary halal certification, halal compliance practices, halal quality assurance which are further hypothesized with operational performance intervention variables and are associated with improving business financial performance. This study involved 183 culinary MSME owners who had previously undergone a halal certification assessment using a convenience sampling technique. The results of the data were analyzed using the SEM PLS modeling technique through the Smart PLS Version 3 application. This study shows that the culinary halal certification program, halal practice compliance and halal quality assurance affect business operational performance. In the end, the operational performance of the business positively improves the financial performance of the business. Three major recommendation sections were formed for Culinary SMEs, BPJPH and Academics in Indonesia.]]>
