PENGGUNAAN PERMAINAN MAZE MAGNET UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH ANAK USAI 5-6 TAHUN

Abstract

Abstrak Pada usia dini, tahapan perkembangan kognitif anak masuk pada tahap pra-oprasional usia 2-7 tahun. Tahap ini anak mulai belajar memecahkan masalah sederhana. Salah satu cara untuk melatih pemecahan masalah dan meningkatkan kognitif anak usia dini yaitu melalui permainan maze magnet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan memcahkan pemecahan masalah melalu media permainan maze magnet pada anak usia 5-6. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif, dengan selama 3 siklus dengan kriteria keberhasilan minimal 75%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 27% anak yang muncul pada siklus I, kemampuan anak semakin meningkat sebesar 54% anak yang muncul pada siklus II, Kemudian hasil dari siklus III yang sudah muncul sebanyak 81% anak, presentase tersebut melebihi batas minimum rata-rata yaitu 75%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa permainan maze magnet dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah anak, dengan implikasi melatih anak untuk belejar memecahkan permasalahan sederhana sehari-hari seperti, berinisiatif belajar membuka bekal makan sendiri, belajar menyelesaikan kegiatan pembelajaran, dan juga belajar menganalisi permasalahan yang dialami. Kata Kunci: Perkembangan Kognitif, permainan maze magnet, pemecahan masalah. Abstract At an early age, the stages of cognitive development of children enter the pre-operational stage aged 2-7 years. At this stage the child begins to learn to solve simple problems. One way to practice problem solving and improve cognitive early childhood is through a magnet maze game. This study aims to improve the ability to solve problems through the media of the maze magnet game in children aged 5-6. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, for 3 cycles with a minimum success criterion of 75%. The results showed that 27% of children appeared in cycle I, the ability of children increased by 54% of children who appeared in cycle II, then the results of cycle III which had appeared as many as 81% of children, this percentage exceeded the minimum average limit of 75%. . These results indicate that the maze magnet game can improve children's problem solving skills, with the implication of training children to learn to solve simple everyday problems such as taking the initiative to learn to open their own lunchboxes, learn to complete learning activities, and also learn to analyze the problems they are experiencing.
