This study aims to improve student learning outcomes in Mathematics by applying a problem-based learning model through the media of scales in grade 2 SDN Canggu 2. Students experience difficulties in understanding material about measuring units of weight. This study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR). In this study, the subjects taken were from grade 2 SDN Canggu 2. This study used two cycles, namely Cycle I and Cycle II. Data collection techniques using planning, action implementation, observation and reflection. The results of the study explained that in the first cycle of students based on learning outcomes with an average value of 86 increased to 75, in cycle I and 90 in cycle II with a percentage of completeness which was initially 33.3% increased to 53.3% in cycle I and 93.3% in cycle II. This study shows that the problem-based learning model through the media of scales can improve student achievement in learning outcomes.
