<![CDATA[Working mothers are one of the factors that prevent exclusive breastfeeding, while the number of female workers continues to increase every year. Counseling in the third trimester focuses on interventions to support the fetus, but midwives can also provide information about matters related to lactation. This study aimed to analyze the effect of counseling on plans for exclusive breastfeeding for working mothers in the third trimester of pregnancy. The research method used was pre-experimental research with a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample size in this study was 31 working mothers selected using purposive sampling technique. Data was collected through a questionnaire and then analyzed using a paired sample t-test. The results of the analysis show p-value = 0.000 or there was a difference in plans for exclusive breastfeeding between before and after counseling. It was concluded that counseling during the third period of pregnancy was effective in realizing plans for exclusive breastfeeding for working mothers.Keywords: exclusive breastfeeding; working mother; third trimester of pregnancy; counseling ABSTRAK Ibu bekerja merupakan salah satu faktor yang menghalangi pemberian ASI eksklusif, sedangkan jumlah pekerja perempuan terus meningkat setiap tahunnya. Konseling pada trimester III berfokus pada intervensi pendukung keadaan janin, namun bidan juga bisa memberi imformasi tentang hal-hal yang berkaitan dengan laktasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh konseling terhadap rencana pemberiaan ASI eksklusif pada ibu bekerja pada kehamilan trimester III. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pra eksperimental dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Ukuran sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 31 ibu bekerja yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner lalu dianalisis menggunakan paired sample t-test. Hasil analisis menunjukkan nilai p = 0,000 atau ada perbedaan rencana pemberian ASI eksklusif antara sebelum dan sesudah konseling. Disimpulkan konseling pada kehamilan timester III efektif untuk mewujudkan rencana pemberian ASI eksklusif pada ibu bekerja.Kata kunci: ASI eksklusif; ibu bekerja; kehamilan trimester III; konseling]]>
