Learning to write poetry is one of the learning outcomes in a merdeka curriculum taught in VIII grade. Students are expected to be able to express their ideas and feelings through concise and beautiful language, according to the characteristics of poetry. The purpose of this research is to describe the use of digital learning media in learning to write poetry. This research was conducted through qualitative research methods with a descriptive presentation. The data for this research is in the form of teaching modules, observation sheets, and students' poetry works. Teaching modules and observation sheets are analyzed to explain the use of digital learning media in the learning process. Students' poetry works were analyzed according to the guidelines for poetry writing assessment criteria. The results of the study show that the average score obtained by students has increased through the use of digital learning media. The skills developed in learning to write poetry include the suitability of the title or theme with the content, diction, style of language, rhyme, and meaning of the poem. The learning media used by educators include the Quizziz platform, poetry anthology, YouTube channels, PowerPoint, and Instagram. These media can be used optimally because they complement each other in any poetry-writing learning activity. Thus, the use of digital learning media can provide insight and experience for students to got a quality learning experience in learning to write poetry.
