<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektifitas Peraturan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 1 Tahun 2016 terhadap Pelaksanaan Mediasi Perceraian di Pengadilan Agama Sengkang dan mengetahui faktor-faktor yang menghambat efektifitas Peraturan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 1 Tahun 2016 di Pengadilan Agama Sengkang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Pengadilan Agama Sengkang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian lapangan dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara dan dokumentasi serta dianalisis secara kualitatif. Hasil penelitian bahwa efektifitas Peraturan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 1 Tahun 2016 belum efektif dilaksanakan karena belum secara optimal menekan penurunan angka perceraian di Pengadilan Agama Sengkang. Adapun faktor-faktor yang menghambat efektifitas Peraturan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 1 tahun 2016 terhadap pelaksanaan mediasi perceraian di Pengadilan Agama Sengkang yaitu faktor internal yakni faktor kuantitas perkara karena banyaknya perkara yang ditangani di Pengadilan Agama Sengkang dan faktor eksternal yakni dukungan kuasa hukum di mana kuasa hukum kurang mendorong para pihak dalam menempuh proses mediasi. This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of Supreme Court Regulation Number 1 of 2016 on the Implementation of Divorce Mediation at the Sengkang Religious Court and determine the factors hindering its effectiveness. This research was conducted at the Sengkang Religious Court. The research method used was empirical juridical field research with data collection techniques, namely interviews and documentation and analyzed qualitatively. The study results show that the effectiveness of Supreme Court Regulation Number 1 of 2016 has not been effectively implemented because it has not optimally suppressed the decline in the divorce rate at the Sengkang Religious Court. And Factors that hinder its effectiveness, namely Internal factors are Case factors because of the large number of cases handled at the Sengkang Religious Court, and External factors are Legal Counsel, where legal counsel does not encourage the parties to take the mediation process, The author's suggestion to the Supreme Court to pay attention to the addition of mediator judges so that there is no accumulation of cases and. And for the Sengkang Religious Court to increase outreach to the community about the benefits of mediation according to Supreme Court Regulation Number 1 of 2016.]]>
