Triage is an activity of patient screening, where they areprioritized for immediate treatment in the emergency room. This studyaims to determine the relationship between education and work experiencewith nurses' knowledge of triage in the Emergency Room of the MonokwariRegional General Hospital. The research method used was quantitativewith an analytical descriptive design and a cross-sectional approach.The sampling technique used was total sampling, with 35 samples. Theresearch results showed that through the Chi-Square test, a value of(p=0.010) ?=<0.05 was obtained. This means that there is asignificant relationship between education and nurses' knowledge oftriage in the Emergency Room of the Monokwari Regional General Hospital.However, the variable of work experience and nurses' knowledge of triageobtained a value of (p=0.194) ?=<0.05, indicating that there is norelationship between work experience and nurses' knowledge of triage inthe Emergency Room of the Monokwari Regional General Hospital. Inconclusion, nurses' knowledge in the Emergency Room about triage iscrucial for decision-making and improving patient care. Education playsa vital role in this knowledge acquisition, whether obtained throughformal or informal education.
