<![CDATA[Ethics towards digital information should be part of the current Islamic education curriculum. This is because information technology which is the basis of digital information is already widely used in society. Unfortunately, ethical concepts related to digital information are generally dominated by the Western worldview. Although many of these concepts are useful, they do not fully in accordance with the necessity of Muslims community since they have different worldview from the Western worldview. Therefore, Muslims need to formulate they own ethical concept towards digital information. The purpose of this research is to formulate adab as a framework for Islamic ethics towards digital information. The author has analyzed the concept of adab, especially based on the thoughts of Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, and applied it to the problems above. As a result, adab towards digital information is a concept that cannot be separated from adab towards Allah, towards oneself and towards other human beings. Abstrak Etika terhadap informasi digital sudah seharusnya menjadi bagian dari kurikulum Pendidikan Islam saat ini. Hal itu karena teknologi informasi yang menjadi basis informasi digital sudah digunakan secara luas di dalam masyarakat. Sayangnya, konsep-konsep etis terkait informasi digital umumnya didominasi oleh pandangan hidup Barat. Meski banyak dari konsep tersebut yang bermanfaat, namun konsep-konsep itu tidak sepenuhnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan umat Islam yang memiliki worldview yang berbeda dengan worldview Barat. Oleh karena itu, umat Islam perlu merumuskan konsep etika terhadap informasi digital berdasarkan pandangannya sendiri. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merumuskan adab sebagai kerangka pikir (framework) etika Islam terhadap informasi digital. Penulis telah menganalisis konsep adab, khususnya berdasarkan pemikiran Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, dan menerapkannya pada persoalan di atas. Hasilnya, adab terhadap informasi digital ini merupakan konsep yang tidak dapat dilepaskan dari adab kepada Allah, kepada diri sendiri, dan kepada sesama manusia.]]>
