Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between motivation and stress levels of students who are writing their final assignments (thesis). The type of research used is quantitative research. The population in this study were students from the UNIBI Management Study Program who were writing their thesis. The sample in this study amounted to 100 people. The sampling technique uses the Simple Random Sampling technique. The research results show that motivation has a significant effect on the preparation of the thesis with a value of 2.227. Furthermore, the stress level has a value of -589, meaning that work stress has no significant effect on completing the thesis. The conclusion of this research is that motivation is the most dominant variable in the preparation of a thesis. This can mean that preparing a thesis quickly and correctly can be seen from how much motivation the student has to complete the thesis in the right time.
