<![CDATA[Technological advances are changing the patterns and systems of people's social lives that require them to be busy to survive. This condition affects the parenting pattern of children, which was initially the responsibility of parents and transferred to grandparents. So how do grandparents shape a child's Islamic spiritual attitude when parenting is shared with grandparents? This study aims to discover the transition of parenting to grandparents and the strategies of grandparenting parenting in forming the child's Islamic spiritual attitude. This research uses qualitative research, with the type of case studies. The informants in this study were grandparents and religious figures from different backgrounds. The technique of determining informants using the purposive method. Data collection uses interviews, observations, and documentation. The data is analyzed using interactive analysis.The results of this study show that the cause of the shift in parenting to grandparents is due to the increasing economic needs and mobility of parents, family disharmony and mortality, and local traditions cultivated. Grandparenting involves exemplification, advice, application, attention, and supervision.]]>
