Abstract

This article aims to clarify the differences between England, Great Britain, and the United Kingdom. England is a constituent country of Great Britain, which is a geographical term for the largest island in the British Isles, consisting of England, Scotland, and Wales. The United Kingdom, or UK, is a sovereign state that includes England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland. The article provides a brief history of the formation of these countries and their current political and social issues. The implications of understanding these differences are important for global relations and international cooperation.Highlights : England, Great Britain, dan United Kingdom memiliki perbedaan yang penting dalam sejarah dan politiknya. Great Britain adalah istilah geografis untuk pulau terbesar di Kepulauan Inggris, yang terdiri dari Inggris, Skotlandia, dan Wales, sedangkan United Kingdom adalah negara berdaulat yang mencakup keempat negara tersebut.
