Abstract

This article aims to review and identify the characteristics of Ulul Amri's personality and leadership among Islamic Education teachers. A total of 109 students from 4 secondary schools in Kota Bharu district were randomly selected as respondents for the study. This study was conducted through a quantitative approach. The data were collected through a questionnaire translated from The Big Five Inventory (BFI) by John (1990) and Ulul Amri's Leadership following the Qur'an. The degree of reliability of the BFI instrument ranges from 0.62 to 0.77 while the Ulul Amri Leadership instrument is between 0.61 and 0.71. Descriptive analysis of frequencies and mins used for distribution analysis. Inference statistics that pearson correlation analysis is used to analyze the relationship between teacher personality and Ulul Amri Leadership. The significant level used is 0.05. The findings show that the most dominant personality dimensions of teachers are Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness and Neuroticism. The results of the correlation test showed that there was no significant relationship between the personality of the Islamic Education Teacher and the leadership of the Ulul Amri teacher except the personality of the agreeableness. The findings show that Islamic Education teachers have positive personalities such as Openness, Agreeableness, Extraversion and Conscientiousness. Meanwhile, Neuroticism with a negative personality teacher of Islamic Education has recorded the lowest mean. This finding shows that Islamic Education teachers in Kota Bharu have a good and positive perception among students. This is also a reflection of the expectation and dependence of the students on the Islamic Education teacher is very high. As Al-Qabisi's theory emphasizes the four qualities of a quality teacher in educating morals, ie by example, qudwah, unity, demonstration and understanding. Teachers through a qudwah approach or exemplary example can become themselves as followers or model roles to students by means of interaction inside and outside the classroom.

Abstract

"Spirituality" consists of abstract concepts, it is difficult for a translator to find or choose the exact alternative to the unit. In the process of translation, the equivalent of one language unit may not be available in another language. In this case, the translation is expressed by a unit word or peripheral. These criteria are analysed in the article.

Abstract

Sistem pendidikan kini sangat menitikberatkan pembelajaran abad ke-21 yang membawa maksud kepada pembelajaran berpusatkan pelajar. Namun demikian kajian-kajian lepas mendapati bahawa kebanyakan guru masih menggunakan pendekatan konvensional yang menyebabkan penglibatan pelajar yang kurang dalam aktiviti pembelajaran. Maka pelajar akan berhadapan dengan kesukaran membina pengetahuan sendiri kerana ia menjurus kepada pembelajaran kurang aktif. Oleh itu, perlu ada satu kaedah pengajaran yang berupaya mengatasi permasalahan tersebut selain menepati pembelajaran terkini seperti kaedah flipped classroom. Kaedah flipped classroom merupakan salah satu kaedah pembelajaran berpusatkan pelajar yang menitikberatkan penglibatan pelajar secara aktif. Jesteru itu, kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tahap kesediaan, tahap penglibatan dan tahap keberkesanan penggunaan kaedah flipped classroom dalam pengajaran dan pembelajaran Matematik Tingkatan 4 di salah sebuah sekolah di Yan, Kedah. Respondennya terdiri daripada 60 orang pelajar yang dibahagikan kepada kumpulan eksperimen dan kumpulan kawalan melalui pendekatan kuasi eksperimen iaitu melalui reka bentuk ujian pra dan ujian pasca. Satu set soal selidik juga telah digunakan untuk mengukur tahap kesediaan, tahap penglibatan dan tahap keberkesanan. Pengukuran keberkesanan kaedah flipped classroom pula telah dilakukan dengan menggunakan set ujian pra dan ujian pasca kepada kumpulan eksperimen dan kumpulan kawalan. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa tahap kesediaan, tahap penglibatan dan tahap keberkesanan berada pada tahap yang sederhana. Hasil dapatan ujian-t pula menunjukkan bahawa terdapat perbezaan di antara ujian pra dan ujian pasca bagi kumpulan eksperimen dan kumpulan kawalan dalam pembelajaran dan pengajaran Matematik. Hasil kajian juga turut menunjukkan bahawa penggunaan kaedah flipped classroom memberi kesan positif terhadap pencapaian pelajar.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find the reason for the user of substance abuse by understanding environment factor as one of tendency factors. Research method was a qualitative. The research subject was 16 people that majority were age of 10 – 16 years old when started using drugs (1 person started using drugs in primary school). Sampling techniques were snow-ball sampling. The result showed that someone will be onvolved in substance abuse until addicted phase if there was tendency factor. The tendency factor was environment factor that can be a trigger of substance abuse. Therefore, this research was expected to give understanding in society especially environment and educational authorityto aware the early symptoms of substance abuse. This case has been a concern of social phenomenon because drug trafficking

Abstract

Amalan pengurusan kualiti mensasarkan penambahbaikan kualiti prestasi organisasi. Walau bagaimanapun literatur kajian terdahulu lebih memberi fokus kepada organisasi yang berasaskan keuntungan. Maka kajian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti hubungan antara amalan pengurusan kualiti dengan penambahbaikan sekolah. Kajian ini merupakan suatu kajian deskriptif berbentuk tinjauan melibatkan 150 orang guru-guru sekolah menengah yang terpilih. Teknik persampelan rawak mudah digunakan untuk mendapatkan data kuantitatif kajian melalui soal selidik Amalan Pengurusan Kualiti dan soal selidik Penambahbaikan Sekolah. Data yang diperoleh seterusnya dianalisis dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensi menerusi program SPSS versi 24. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa amalan pengurusan kualiti mempunyai hubungan positif yang signifikan secara statistik dengan penambahbaikan sekolah. Sehubungan itu, adalah dicadangkan khususnya bagi pihak sekolah dan warga guru untuk mempraktikkan amalan pengurusan kualiti supaya penambahbaikan sekolah dapat dicapai

Abstract

Pelan Pembangunan Pendidikan Malaysia (PPPM) 2013-2025 menggariskan peranan penting warga institusi pendidikan dalam pembangunan organisasi yang positif. Namun masih terdapat warga sekolah yang hanya melaksanakan tugasan rasmi tanpa mempunyai kerelaan bekerja dalam organisasi. Justeru kajian ini bertujuan untuk mengenal pasti pengaruh iklim sekolah ke atas tingkah laku warga organisasi sekolah menengah dan sekolah kebangsaan. Kajian deskriptif ini berbentuk tinjauan menggunakan pendekatan keratan rentas dalam pengumpulan data kajian. Instrumen yang di gunakan mengandungi dua bahagian iaitu School Level Evironment Questionaire (SLEQ) dan Dimensionality of Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB). Sejumlah 153 orang responden yang terdiri daripada guru sekolah menengah dan sekolah kebangsaan di Negeri Perlis yang terlibat dalam kajian ini. Data kuantitatif kajian dianalisis menggunakan perisian Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) for Windows versi 22. Hasil kajian telah menunjukkan dimensi iklim bagi kebebasan pekerja telah mempengaruhi tingkah laku warga organisasi. Secara keseluruhannya tahap iklim sekolah yang tinggi dapat mempengaruhi tingkah laku warga organisasi ke arah meningkatkan organisasi yang cemerlang.
