Abstract

Micro-hydro power generation is the generation of electricity produced by a DC or AC generator. Electrical load data was carried out by interviews and questionnaires to the people of Sangaji Village, to find out what electronic equipment is used in every house that has an electric power of 450 watts. The criteria used to assess the feasibility of developing and managing a MHP are the Net Present Value, the ratio between costs and benefits (Benefit Cost Ratio), Internal Rate Of Retuen (IRR), and Brean Even Point (BEP). The results of the study show that 36 houses have an electricity consumption of 100.01 KW, where the maximum capacity of a micro-hydro power plant is 100 KW. So that it can be seen that the results of the calculation of the economic aspects of the Sangaji Village PLTMH get a benefit cost ratio of 1 so that this project is declared feasible to build, the net present value is Rp. 12,977,017,141.00, the potential return on investment from an investment is 13.97%, the break even point is 4,006,200 KWH which must be sold to achieve a return on investment for the Sangaji village PLTMH project.
