<![CDATA[Motivasi merupakan salah satu faktor yang sangat berpengaruh dalam melakukan manajemen diri pada perawatan diri pasien Diabetes Melitus tipe II (DM tipe II) sehingga dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri. Efikasi diri pada pasien diabetes tipe II merupakan komponen penting dalam meningkatkan kemandirian pasien dalam mengelola penyakitnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi hubungan antara motivasi dengan efikasi diri pada pasien DM tipe II di RSUD Cideres tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 97 orang yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pengisian kuesioner untuk melihat skor motivasi dan efikasi diri pasien DM tipe II. Hasil pengukuran data dianalisa menggunakan uji korelasi Person Product Moment. Hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa sebagaian besarresponden memiliki motivasi baik sebanyak 55,7% dan memiliki efikasi diri baik sebanyak 55,7%. Selain itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan bermakna antara motivasi diri dengan efikasi diri pada pasien DM tipe II (p = 0,002) dengan arah hubungan positif dan kekuatan korelasi lemah (r = 0,314). Dianjurkan bagi perawat atau petugas kesehatan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan efikasi diri pasien DM tipe II dengan pemahaman kesehatan terstruktur, memfasiltasi pemberian dukungan keluarga, dan memberikan intervensi terkait perawatan diri diabetes.Motivation is one factor that very influential in performing self-care of patients with type II diabetes so that it can improve self efficacy. Self efficacy in patients with type II diabetes mellitus (type II DM) is an important component in improving patient independence in managing the disease. This study aims to identify the significancy of the relationship between motivation with self efficacy in patients with type II diabetes in Cideres Hospital 2018. This study used statistical correlation test with cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were 97 people selected by purposive sampling technique. Data collection was done by filling out questionnaires to see the motivation and self efficacy of type II DM patients. The results of data measurement were analyzed using Person Product Moment correlation test. The results obtained that most respondents have good motivation as much as 55,7% and have good self efficacy as much as 55,7%. In addition, the results showed a significant relationship between self-motivation and self efficacy in patients with type II diabetes (p = 0,002) with a positive relationship direction and weak correlation strength (r = 0,314). It is recommended for nurses or health workers to enhance self-motivation and self efficacy of type II diabetics with a structured health understanding, facilitate family support, and provide self-care interventions for diabetes.]]>
