Abstract

Current Information Technology advancements have seen rapid progress across various sectors, including public services at the village level. One notable example is the implementation of the Village Management Information System (SIMANDE), accessible to residents and managed by village administrators, particularly in Mulya Kencana Village. The primary goal of establishing this system is to address issues inherent in the outdated existing system. In the previous setup, residents seeking certification had to physically visit the village office and engage with village officials for service. With the introduction of this Village Management Information System, individuals can conveniently access the system from home to process certification, eliminating the need for direct visits to the village office. Furthermore, village administrators can utilize the system to disseminate information to the community efficiently. The research methodology employed Rapid Application Development (RAD), with MySQL selected as the database for secure data storage and integrity within the village management information system. Research findings indicate positive user responses to the developed SIMANDE system. The implications of SIMANDE’s development are highly favorable, enhancing efficiency and accessibility in public services at the village level. Additionally, the integration of information technology benefits village administrators in effectively communicating information to the community.
