Abstract

Abstrak - Daerah penelitian secara administratif berada di Desa Sukajadi, Kecamatan Pseksu, Kabupaten Lahat, Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Secara geografis daerah penelitian berada pada koordinat 307500 mE – 311500 mE dan 9579000 mN – 9583000 mN UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator WGS 1948 Zona 48 S. Daerah penelitian memiliki luas 20 km2 dengan panjang 5 km dan lebar 4 km yang dibuat dengan skala 1 : 12.500. Geomorfologi daerah penelitian terbagi menjadi enam satuan bentuklahan yaitu : perbukitan karst (K1), perbukitan sesar (S1), lembah homoklin (S2), dataran bergelombang (D1), dataran aluvial (F1) dan tubuh sungai (F2). Stratigrafi daerah penelitian terbagi menjadi enam satuan batuan yaitu: satuan lava andesit Saling (Jura Akhir – Kapur Awal), satuan batugamping Sepingtiang (Kapur Awal), intrusi adamelit (Kapus Akhir), satuan batugamping Baturaja (Miosen Awal), satuan batulempung Airbenakat (Miosen Tengah – Akhir) dan endapaan aluvial (Holosen). Struktur geologi yang berkembang pada daerah penelitian berupa sesar mendatar dan kekar. Sesar pada daerah penelitian terdiri dari Sesar Payang Lintang 1, Sesar Payang Kasap (Sesar Mendatar Kanan), Sesar Payang Lintang 2, Sesar Limau, dan Sesar Sungai Tenang (Sesar Mendatar Kiri). Berdasarkan hasil interpretasi penampang dipole – dipole pada satuan batugamping Sepingtiang diketahui ketebalannya yaitu >284,75 m. Hasil pengujian sifat fisik batuan diketahui dari 5 sampel yang diuji memiliki nilai porositas 0,20 – 2,18 %, dan nilai void ratio 0 – 0,02. Nilai kuat tekan batuan berkisar antara 42,145 – 68,432 Mpa. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan menggunakan metode profilling diketahui volume total satuan batugamping Sepingtiang yaitu 672.806.166 m3 dan jumlah estimasi cadangan yang ada pada satuan batugamping Sepingtiang adalah sebesar 1.605.988.320 Ton. Kata kunci: Batugamping, Formasi Sepingtiang, Lahat The research area is administratively located in Sukajadi Village, Pseksu District, Lahat Regency, South Sumatra Province. Geographically, the research area is situated at coordinates 307500 mE - 311500 mE and 9579000 mN - 9583000 mN in the UTM (Universal Transverse Mercator) WGS 1948 Zone 48 S. The research area covers an area of 20 km² with dimensions of 5 km in length and 4 km in width, constructed at a scale of 1:12,500. The geomorphology of the research area is divided into six landform units: karst hills (K1), faulted hills (S1), homocline valleys (S2), undulating plains (D1), alluvial plains (F1), and river bodies (F2). The stratigraphy of the research area comprises six rock units: andesitic lava unit of Saling (Late Jurassic - Early Cretaceous), Sepingtiang limestone unit (Early Cretaceous), adamelite intrusion unit (Late Cretaceous), Baturaja limestone unit (Early Miocene), Airbenakat claystone unit (Middle to Late Miocene), and alluvial deposit unit (Holocene). The geological structure prevalent in the research area consists of horizontal and faulted structures. The fault system in the research area includes Payang Lintang 1 Fault, Payang Kasap Fault (Right-lateral fault), Payang Lintang 2 Fault, Limau Fault, and Sungai Tenang Fault (Left-lateral fault). Based on dipole-dipole cross-section interpretation, it is known that the thickness of the Sepingtiang limestone unit is greater than 284.75 meters. The physical properties of the rock samples tested indicate a porosity range of 0.20% to 2.18% and a void ratio range of 0 to 0.02. The compressive strength of the rocks ranges from 42.145 to 68.432 MPa. Based on profiling methods, the total volume of the Sepingtiang limestone unit is determined to be 672,806,166 cubic meters, and the estimated reserve within the Sepingtiang limestone unit is approximately 1,605,988,320 metric tons. Keywords: Limestone, Sepingtiang Formation, Lahat
