Pengaruh Penggunaan Coil Racing Terhadap Emisi Gas Buang Dan Konsumsi Bahan Bakar Pada Sepeda Motor Empat Langkah

Abstract

Koil pengapian merupakan alat yang dirancang untuk memiliki kekuatan penguat listrik bertegangan tinggi sehingga menghasilkan pijaran api yang besar pada busi untuk menghasilkan pembakaran yang sempurna. Pemakaian koil racing dapat mempengaruhi kadar emisi gas buang dan jumlah konsumsi bahan bakar pada kendaraan dikarenakan system pengapian yang lebih baik dan lebih sempurna dibandingkan dengan menggunakan koil standar. Koil Racing menghasilkan tegangan primer sebesar 343.3 volt dan tegangan sekunder mencapai 30 KV dan memiliki jumlah gulungan primer sebanyak 150 lilitan dan gulungan sekunder sebanyak 13.108 lilitan. Dengan menggunakan koil racing ini mampu menurunkan persentase kadar emisi gas buang karbonmonoksida (CO) sebesar 60%, gas hidrokarbon (HC) sebesar 24.53%, serta penurunan jumlah persentase konsumsi bahan bakar sebesar 16.79%. The ignition coil is a device designed to have the power of a high-voltage electric amplifier so as to produce a large afterglow on the spark plug to produce complete combustion. The use of racing coils can affect the level of exhaust emissions and the amount of fuel consumption in vehicles due to a better and more perfect ignition system compared to using a standard coil. The Racing coil produces a primary voltage of 343.3 volts and a secondary voltage of 30 KV and has a primary winding of 150 windings and a secondary winding of 13,108 windings. By using this racing coil, it is able to reduce the percentage of carbon monoxide (CO) exhaust emissions by 60%, hydrocarbon gas (HC) by 24.53%, and a decrease in the percentage of fuel consumption by 16.79%.
