Abstract

Abstract -- Transformer is an electrical equipment that can move and convert electrical energy from one or more electrical circuits to another electrical circuit. In load transformers, the power coming out of the transformer (transformer output power) is not always 100% because there are losses when channeling to the load, both losses caused by current flowing on the copper wire which results in the output power (output power) of the transformer to the load is not the same as the incoming power (input power) to the transformer. Therefore the transformer is designed so that the power losses that occur will be reduced and the efficiency released by the transformer is close to 100%.Key words: Transformer, Transformer Planning, Power Loss. Abstrak —  Transformator adalah suatu peralatan listrik yang dapat memindahkan dan mengubah energi listrik dari satu atau lebih rangkaian listrik ke rangkaian listrik yang lain. Pada transformator keadaan berbeban, daya yang keluar dari transformator (daya output transformator) tidak selalu 100% karena terdapat rugi-rugi pada saat penyaluran ke beban, baik rugi yang disebabkan arus mengalir pada kawat tembaga yang mengakibatkan daya yang keluar (daya output) dari transformator ke beban tidak sama dengan daya yang masuk (daya input) ke transformator. Oleh karena itu  tansformator di desain agar rugi-rugi daya yang terjadi akan mengecil dan efisiensi yang di keluarkan transformator tersebut mendekati 100%.Kata Kunci : Transformator, Rugi-rugi Daya Perencanaan Transformator.
