<![CDATA[Riba literally means additional assets required in the transaction of two contract participants in the exchange between assets and assets. Riba on debt is divided into 2 types, namely riba qard and riba jahiliyah. Riba qard is an additional taken due to a delay in payment of debt. Riba jahiliya is a debt that is paid more than the principal, because the debtor is unable to pay the debt at the stipulated time. The impact of the practice of riba is not only influential in economic life, but also effects the shopping habits of muslims in Indonesia, as for the impact as follows, riba can create a wasteful mentality, riba eliminates the useful value of an object, riba is a form of colonialism and riba makes creditors have the right to take bad actions to demand the agreement.
