<![CDATA[One form of settlement of sharia economic dispute cases is through mediation. So the purpose of this study is to find out the obstacles to resolving sharia economic disputes through mediation during the Covid-19 pandemic. Researchers used qualitative research methods. The analysis used in this research is descriptive, the author analyzes the data obtained and then compiled it systematically and thoroughly by explaining the mechanism for resolving Islamic economic disputes through mediation during the Covid-19 pandemic and the factors that hinder it. The results of this study are: (1) With the Covid 19 pandemic, the parties cannot attend court in person but can watch and listen from a distance. (2) The inhibiting factors for resolving sharia economic disputes through mediation during the Covid 19 pandemic are: the absence of the party concerned due to the implementation of PSBB, the inability to pay for the costs incurred due to the economic downturn during a pandemic like this and the very strict health protocols such as swab antigens. make the parties think twice.Keyword : dispute resolution; sharia economics; mediation; covid 19 pandemic]]>
