Abstract

Penelitian dengan judul “Penggunaan Media Permainan Ular Tangga Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Sejarah Siswa Kelas XI IPS 1 MAN 2 Banda Aceh”bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Penggunaan Media Permainan Ular Tangga Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Sejarah Siswa Kelas XI IPS 1 MAN 2 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kombinasi (mixed methods) yaitu penggabungan antara data kuantitatif dan kualitatif, sedangkan jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelasXI IPS 1 MAN 2 Banda Aceh yang berjumlah25 orang peserta didik. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sample dan jumlah sampelnya mengikuti ketentuan sampel Isaac Michael. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, model data (data display), dan verivikasi (kesimpulan). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan, rata-rata tingkat motivasi yang diperoleh peserta didik kelas XI IPS 1 MAN 2 Banda Aceh adalah sangat termotivasi. Skor persentase yang diperoleh peserta didik kelas XI IPS 1 terdiri dari 88%, 92% 94%, 96%, 98%, dan 100% serta jika dijumlahkan maka rata-rata skor persentasenya adalah 97% yang hasilnya masuk kedalam kualifikasi sangat termotivasi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media permainan ular tangga terhadap motivasi belajar sejarah siswa kelas XI IPS 1 MAN 2 Banda Aceh. Research with the title "The use of Game Media Snakes and Ladders against the motivation to learn history students grade XI IPS 1 MAN 2 Banda Aceh" aims to determine the influence of the use of game media snakes and ladders on motivation to learn the history of class XI students IPS 1 MAN 2 Banda Aceh. This research uses mixed methods which combine quantitative and qualitative data, while this type of research is descriptive. The research subject in this study is all students of XI IPS 1 MAN 2 Banda Aceh, amounting to 25 learners. Sampling techniques use purposive samples and the samples follow the provisions of Isaac Michael's sample. The data collection techniques used are observations, interviews, and documentation, while data analysis techniques use data reduction, data model (data display), and verification (conclusion). Based on the results of data analysis that has been done, the average level of motivation obtained by students of class XI IPS 1 MAN 2 Banda Aceh is very motivated. The percentage score obtained by students of the class XI IPS 1 consists of 88%, 92% 94%, 96%, 98%, and 100% and if aggregated, the average percentage score is 97% which results in highly motivated qualifications. It can be concluded that there is an influence on the use of game media snakes and ladders against the motivation to learn history students grade XI IPS 1 MAN 2 Banda Aceh.
