The purpose of this paper is to provide a descriptive analytic on how honorary teachers in West Java in managing their financial. Honorary teachers are frontliner of national education especially at primary and mid-high level and which all the stakeholders should put attention on their well-being. This study also discusses and propose a conceptual framework on determining factor on their financial management behaviour as well as their decision in engaging with digital lending. The survey was conducted online involving 68 respondents which also members of honorary teacher association. The results shows that majority of honorary teachers have insufficient income and they are vulnerable to be penetrated by illegal digital lending. This research proposed a follow up study on the behaviour of honorary teachers by including the variable of financial literate, inclusivity and efficiency, innovation, risk and customer protection, data security, and legality of digital lending.
